What is Key Holding & Alarm Response?
A keyholding service is where we hold a set of keys for your commercial or residential property so that in the event of an alarm activation we can respond, gain access to your premises, assess the situation and take the relevant action.
Alarm activations can occur at anytime of the day or night. Attending yourself or sending employees to respond to an out of hours alarm to establish if a break-in has occurred or a fire has started, is not safe, good practice or necessarily practical.
As SIA trained and licensed security professionals, we know the best way to assess and handle potentially dangerous situations. We can access your premises, assess why an alarm has been activated and take action such as switch off utilities, contact emergency services and in some circumstances apprehend an intruder.
Once we have assessed the situation we then contact your named emergency contact and advise on the action we have taken and any further actions needed.
